What to pack for Bali trip?

Bali, Indonesia is rich in natural attractions, culture, and history. It is perfect for wanderers who are looking for great surfing spots, yoga retreat houses, villas and inner peace.

The cost of living is relatively cheap; 1 USD is equal to 13337.50 IDR (as of this writing). With $1 you can buy a nice healthy meal. If you are looking for authentic cultural immersion, Bali is the right place to be.

Bali Packing List

The first time I went to Bali, I had a checked-in baggage and carry-on luggage for one week stay. If I would do it over again, I’m just gonna bring carry-on bag ONLY. Why? Packing light is very easy and less hassle.

Tiger Air lost my checked-in baggage when I arrived in Ngurah Rai International Airport. I didn’t freak out when I didn’t see my backpack in the baggage claim area. I just said to myself that I will never again check-in my luggage with Tiger Air. EVER… After filing a report, I went to my friend’s house carrying my laptop and DSLR only. The following day, Tiger Air delivered my lost (now found) luggage. Whew!
