This is a blog about a Filipina nomad who likes to travel a lot, eat good food, and experience different cultures while working on her laptop.
Pinaynomad quit her job recently to focus on her online business and do digital marketing in her spare time. She’s currently studying drop shipping and might open another digital shop next month to fund her next road trips.
Her goal is to travel all the 7,107 islands of the Philippines and go to different countries once or twice a year without spending too much. She already made a mistake in the past and splurged $3000 on mini-vacations. She will not do that again and because she learned that $3000 can go a looong way.
What to expect on this travel blog?
Pinaynomad will document all the places she’s been to, will list all the expenses, and give some tips on what’s nice to do or eat in that particular place. She will be detailed as much as possible and will include some interviews and guest posts from her companions and friends she will meet along the way.
Pinay Nomad will give honest reviews if she finds a place worth giving a 5-star experience or a 1-star experience. This girl can be very vocal but will always be nice. Sharing genius ways to achieve financial freedom, travel cheaply, and “stay fit” should be expected on this site.
She advises everyone to know at least one fighting skills like MMA (mixed martial arts), wrestling or grappling coz it will come in handy. Just a short FYI, she did boxing and Yawyan (dance of death) last 2011 in Hybrid Yawyan Gym in Quezon City, Philippines, and learned kick-boxing (Muay Thai) in Koh Samui, Thailand. So don’t mess up with this Asian lady. 🙂
Aside from travel, she might post some articles about fitness, technology, and one of the few things she enjoys the most, food! She’s been living healthy since 2011 but still eats fatty food like pizza once in a while.
If you want her to visit and feature your place, feel free to contact her and say hello using the email under “About” section. She is very willing to expose your city or province to the world wide web. When you meet her, you guys can teach her stuff like gardening, whitewater rafting, cliff jumping, skiing, picking fruits on the farm, etc. She’s willing to try all that coz it’s on her bucket list. Help her make it happen. 🙂
